Ramp Rejuvenation
We put in work one (mostly) rainy weekend and revamped the notorious R.A.M.P that resides in my garage. What was born from a loose claim the night prior manifested into reality as layers were peeled, 2x4's screwed, and wood purchased. The end result is as buttery as buns, and the bros are pumped.

yesterday.
Yesterday I went on a pleasant hike. I was becoming one, basking in my solitude and reveling in the calm and humbling experience that only a stint in nature can elicit.
This was the case, until I burst through some brush, having just braved a few miles of 95 degree heat, eagerly anticipating a cool soak in a favorite water hole. To my shock and awe, an older gentleman (60+) was sunbathing on the large, smooth stones surrounding the pool. He stood up and faced me, proclaiming "One hell of a water hole, isn't it?"
"You said it," I responded, struggling to keep my eyes averted, however they kept drifting towards the quivering extremity that was his exposed penis.
"I might have to hop in," I stated, pretending not to notice his erection. At this, the naked man submerged himself in the pool and enthusiastically exclaimed "I see no reason not to!"
I opted out of the joint skinny dip and instead marched on, saving myself for the next opportunity to cool off. The remainder of my journey was enjoyed on my lonesome, and when I passed by the same pool on the way back, the man was gone. I hopped in, pacified by the cold water and the absence of elderly wood.

The Beginnings of an Era
Some years ago we constructed the ramp that currently resides in my garage. It's now on its last limb and nearing extinction. Peep the OG photos documenting some aspects of the process for a little throw-back nostalgia!

Graham analyzing the flat

Louie, Matt and the infamous Mike Mohr.

Thaksinh was holding it down

Post-construction chilling.

Matt sanded that piece to perfection.

Young Desmond came to check the new digs.

First front slash, certainly not the last that ramp has seen.

Pulled it.
